RP-T2 Butt joint screw - This one if for tightening
ADVANTAGES:
No subsequent cleaning of the roof surface is needed thanks to chip-free fastening = time and cost savings.
High pull-out values even in thin-walled components. More thread turns are formed in the displaced material owing to the thin sheet metal tip.
Fast screw-in speed due to double thread.
Due to the thread-free part beneath the screw head, the two components are joined together without high constraint forces.
No undercut, which means the screw can also be loosened again if required.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION:
Drilling screw for fixing aluminium and steel profile sheets to aluminium and steel substructures without chipping.
Fixing short aluminium profiles to profile sheets, mounting standing seam clips, steel and aluminium sheet connections
PROCESSING RECOMMANDATIONS:
1. Inserting the screw with increased pressure and low rotation speed (approx. 200 revolutions). 2. Pressure can be reduced as soon as the thread engages. The rotation speed can then be increased to approx. 1,600 revolutions. 3. Immediately before fitting the sealing washer, reduce the rotation speed considerably and tighten the sealing washer until it is slightly compressed. 4 Recommended tightening torque for steel substructure approx. 3 Nm, under 0.8 mm material thickness 1 Nm. Recommended tightening torque for aluminium substructure approx. 1 Nm, under 0.8 mm material thickness 0.5 Nm.
